Przemek ‘Shemeck’ Bajer Ph.D. — Owner: As a faculty member at the University of Minnesota, he has been at the forefront of common carp research and management since 2006.  Many of the most referenced scientific publication on carp management in North America have been authored by Dr. Bajer.  He has a PhD in Fisheries Sciences and is experienced in various aspects of carp management, biology and ecology.  He will oversee objectives related to common carp assessments and control, particularly data analyses and management recommendations.

Eric Fieldseth — Project Manager: Eric has extensive public and private sector experience managing aquatic invasive species, and measuring its impact on aquatic ecosystems. He is especially interested in the interactions between common carp, aquatic plant communities and water quality. As project manager, he will provide coordination with clients and oversee all projects to ensure goals and objectives are being met.

Vinnie Hirt, Ph.D. — Scientist: Earned a B.S. in biology from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, an M.S. in biology from John Carroll University, and a Ph.D. in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior from the University of Minnesota. He has conducted research on a variety of fish-related topics including morphology, development, behavior, genetics, and evolution. He has also spent decades making and fixing things and is responsible for collecting and analyzing data, improving existing methods and equipment, and developing new technologies to facilitate carp management.
